The Paint Creek Dam at sunset on canvas!
In 1829, six small lakes were transformed into one large lake called Lake Orion. It is the Township’s largest water mass with approximately 21 miles of shoreline. By damming Paint Creek, the water level was raised 12 feet creating numerous islands.
