Originally named E.S. Letts and Son Lumber Company in the early 1900s. It was owned by James M. Letts. He was well known for his ornate craftsmanship. He has built houses in Orion!
His business was sold to the R.W. Nowels family in 1947 and was renamed Lake Orion Lumber Company. The business was open until 2024. It was located at It was located at 215 S. Broadway.
